From the 8th to 10th of June, NDL/HIDC and ten of its members exhibited at the Transport Logistic China exhibition in Shanghai. Together with other representatives of the Dutch logistics industry; the Ports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Groningen and Zeeland, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and logistics research institute Dinalog, they formed the ‘Holland Pavillion’. In this pavilion visitors were informed about the advantages of the Netherlands as a location for European supply chain activities.
During the seminar 'Holland: Your swift and sustainable connection to Europe' which NDL/HIDC organized on the 9th of June, several speakers from the industry, as well as the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA), and Deloitte shared some of the latest developments in green logistics in Europe, explained which role Holland can play as a hub for European supply chain activities, and how smart tax and customs planning can contribute to an efficient supply chain.
