IJS Global establishes its head office at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

IJS Global, a major provider of global logistics services, has signed a lease with Schiphol Real Estate for business premises including approximately 2,000 m² of office space and 5,400 m² of business accommodation at Schiphol-South.

The premises at Schiphol will be IJS Global's new head office and 60 staff will be based there. IJS Global operates in the fields of air and ocean freight forwarding, road transport, courier shipments, warehousing, customs clearance and supply chain solutions. IJS Global will move into its new premises in 2012, which will be home to both IJS Global Netherlands and IJS Global Headquarters. The transaction will be conducted, on IJS Global's behalf, by Van Gool and Elburg Real Estate Advisors.

Sjoerd van Loon, CEO of IJS Global: "In April 2010, we moved our global headquarters from Stamford USA to Amsterdam. Since our company was founded in 2004, we have experienced rapid growth. We now want to position our head office in a location that can provide the right preconditions for further growth. And that's exactly what Schiphol does."
