Juliska is a US based tableware company designing and importing from Portugal and the Czech Republic. They sell to top retailers across the USA.

In 2001 Dave and Capucine Gooding launched their own tableware brand, inspired by their love of entertaining and all things European. Their design philosophy: beautiful, functional and luxe for chic everyday living. In the course of nine year’s they made their debut with a small collection of 40 European glass reproductions, managed to triple the collection to 120 pieces within one year’s time, launched a ceramics and lighting collection and opened a spectacular flagship store in Stamford and made their European debut at the Paris’ Maison & Objet show.

In the Summer of 2008 Gooding’s sister, Deborah Holden, joined Juliska to head the European expansion from a new London HQ. The company now sells to many of the top retail stores outside the United States, including Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Bloomingdales and many of the top independent luxury home boutiques. Logistically the products have to be shipped to a variety of regions – at present much of it in the UK and continental Europe, but business in the Middle East and Asia is growing.  Kamino’s location in the Netherlands provided Juliska with a single good central location from which to ship as economically as possible.

Juliska, introduced to NDL/HIDC’s services by word of mouth, asked NDL/HIDC for help in finding a European based logistics partner to manage inventory, fulfillment and customer service for Europe, the Middle East and Asia. NDL/HIDC made a selection of logistics service providers, which would be capable of handling Juliska’s requirements. After careful consideration of information gathered during a fact finding trip and the requests for quotation, Juliska selected Kamino International Logistics B.V., Rotterdam.
